Jenna Fischer is best known for playing Pam Beesly on the acclaimed television series The Office For her role, she was awarded the Emmy nomination for the Best Supporting Actress as well as two SAG Awards for Outstanding Performance from An Ensemble Comedy.
She was raised primarily in St. Louis Missouri. Jenna's mother Anne used to perform in dramas at church in her younger years which sparked an enthusiasm for theatre.
An actress trained in theater, Fischer returned to her roots after wrapping The Office. The role she played was Josh Hamilton in Neil LaBute's Off-Broadway play Reasons to be Happy. She then starred in Steve Martin's newest production Meteor Shower. It was an absurd comedy piece starring Greg Germann and Josh Stamberg and ran for an unprecedented time at the Old Globe Theatre.
The Office actress Angela Kinsey Fischer, who is her real-life best friend and co-star, debuted Office Ladies in October 2019 on Earwolf. The show became wildly successful, ranking in the Top Ten of the world each week. The podcast received more than 200 million downloads during its first 2 years. Office Ladies was awarded the iHeart Radio Podcast of the Year award in January 2021.
She's also the co-author of Office BFF's Tales of The Office from Two Best Friends The Office. The memoir deals with the relationship between them and how they worked in the production of The Office.
